Mountain Dew began a campaign initiative in 2009 to involve their loyal customers more in brand and product creation through the use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. DEWmocracy 2 challenges DEW fans to create the next Mountain Dew product from flavor to package design to an advertising campaign. In April 2010, three user created products will launch at retail outlets throughout the United States. This site is a media hub for their efforts.
